LuHigh PE Students Bowling Field Trip

Gryphons in Physical Education classes recently attended a Bowling field trip to All Star Lanes in Kenner. There were many highly spirited cheers and jeers as students rolled strikes, spares and gutter balls. Special thanks to our parent volunteers for assisting Coach Jones as chaperones.

Sophomores Participate in Anti-Defamation League’s Unity Through Understanding Day

LuHigh Enjoys Some Christmas Cheer

Many thanks to the Gryphon families who helped us have a successful LuHigh Christmas celebration! Students and faculty enjoyed a holiday feast, decorating activities, caroling, a visit from Santa, competitions and prize drawings, and performances from our Choir and Theatre classes, and Cheerleaders!

Grandparents Day

Grandparents fill our hearts with love! Thank you to all of the grandparents, parents, relatives, and family friends who joined us for breakfast and a school tour. Afterward, we enjoyed celebrating Chapel with our extended Gryphon family where we were reminded that Jesus is the ultimate Christmas gift.

LuHigh Seniors Experience Ren-Fest

Tuesday, November 13th, Senior students and students enrolled in English IV braved the cold to attend the Louisiana Renaissance Festival in Hammond. Highlights included meeting the Queen, watching a jousting match, and learning about life during this time period. Accompanying the students were Mr. Dauss, Mr. Brackvitch, and Mrs. Lagarde.
