“Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms…if anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ.” (I Peter 4:10-11)

Lutheran High School is committed to nurturing students in mind, body, and spirit. Therefore, our students will engage in service learning.

The purpose of the service program is multi-fold including, but certainly not limited to:giapengis

  • Sharing Christ’s love in the community
  • Modeling service to others for our students
  • Showing our students the joy and fulfillment in serving others
  • Being a positive force in the community
  • Improving character
  • Fostering civic responsibility
  • Impacting lives

Service learning will take place in two ways – individual projects for graduation in addition to school-wide service days. It is
our hope that students will leave Lutheran High with a connection to the community that will last for the rest of their lives. Service hour’s updates will be given to students each semester.

The students, faculty, and staff of Lutheran High School will spend a school day during the year serving in the community.
